Interact helped eradicate Polio in India and I’m SO amazed by this. I still remember the days when I’d carry around an “END POLIO NOW” small box asking for donations from school and motivating people to donate by saying that little quote. All those times when I spent money going to fundraisers, school events, area events or even district events all seem so worth it now. Just knowing that I was able to play a small part in helping this happen two years ago makes me filled with joy and happiness. This world just focuses so much on the negatives that we don’t even have time to appreciate things like this. I’m so proud of everyone in Interact District 5170 and Rotary International. This really proves that one small act can really make a difference and Interact District 5170 definitely proved that it can happen. I’m so thankful to be in such a great organization and just seeing this makes me want to do even more for the community… :)
